I always DOWNLOAD the latest update to my computer then I install the exe file. When I receive notification of an update NOW I click on HELP and at the bottom of the window Check for Updates - There is a link there that takes me straight to the secured download page. Once installed I believe I had to register the software to receive notification of updates. Not the DEMO version which only saves 16 measures.

It's been a while since I purchased TablEdit so my memory is not so sharp but as I recall I was sent an email with my username and password and a link to a secure area where I downloaded the most recent Full Version of the software. Matthieu (in France) is the creator of TablEdit. The message will include the link to the download. If your computer is online, you'll get a pop-up message in TablEdit whenever a new version is released. Paying for TablEdit entitles you to lifetime upgrades. That page is password-protected, so you'll need your name and password. (The path may be different in Windows I'm on a Mac) I believe that will unlock your demo copy and turn it into the full featured TablEdit.Īlso: The email you received from them should have a URL for the non-published owners-only page where you can download the full version. Since you have a name and password, enter them in the window I described above.

I don't appear to have any other Registration Key. and all I see are the user name and a 10-letter password. I just looked in the window that opens in TablEdit > About TablEdit > Registration. Yes, I think it is - especially since the password is supplied by them. and (2) password ? My email didn't contain any "Registration Key". Is the "Registration Key" the email refers to the same thing as (1) user I.D. I can execute the program, but there are problems. I did execute the program from the directory where it resides and "pin" it to the taskbar. When something like this happens, the vendors usually suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the software. The install didn't create an icon, I can't save tunes over 16 measures long, etc. I sent "keith" an email describing things that I consider unusual. When I uninstalled the free viewer, there was a problem and it wasn't completely removed. Two hands to play the banjo and another to turn the pages. You would need 3 hands to use a 14 page tab. I seen any discussion on this, but I can't be the only person trying to accomplish this. I am trying to "whittle" tabs for each tune down to a couple of pages. The name of the chords helps, but chord diagrams aren't needed. But, is there any way to eliminate chords ? I don't want 14 page tabs for a single tune. Tam - You are correct, this website serves the Tabledit user better than their forum. If your still having problems contact Keith by - Tam_Zeb on 17:59:09 There is a TablEdit User Group on Yahoo, but I think you will find you get better advice / support from users here on the Hangout I believe the guy from Rochester deals with admin issues for English language users.

The guy in France is the software programmer. How long did it take to get your version of Tabledit working ? Guess I will just sit here waiting for the email that contains the information I need to install Tabledit and get it working. I want to try the software with some ".bjo" tab files but need the full version of Tabledit to do this. When I buy software I usually just provide the information and credit card info, receive an email with a link, execute the link and get the software downloading and installed.
The guy in France must have to tell the guy in NY that they received payment before I can become a subscriber. I found that subscription procedure strange. My subscription went to Rochester NY and my payment to somebody in France.
